The Overview!
Fueling The Transition To Renewable Power.
Olooji community is located 60Km off the city, into the forest reserve of Ogun State. Olooji community is also an agrarian community in State. Our solar project will power productive users such as welders, ice block businesses, cocoa farmers and primary health care centers and primary schools.
ACOB Lighting Technology Limited developed 100kWp Hybrid Solar Mini-grid power plant with a distribution network spanning over 6km powering 3,325 beneficiaries, 475 House hold and 89 productive users.
The project was developed on a Public – Private – Partnership, PPP, with fund support from the Rural Electrification Fund, REF, of the Rural Electrification Agency in Nigeria.
The Mini-grid included 304 units of 345W Jinko Solar panels, 72 units of lead acid Hoppecke batteries, and 100kVA Diesel Generator. The system was designed on an AC-DC Coupled Electrical System using 4 units of 2500 Tripower SMA PV inverter and 9 units of Sunny Island 8.0-12H Inverters.
