ACOB Lighting Technology Limited Announces Successful Execution of Tripartite Agreement with Jos Electricity Distribution Company Plc (JED Plc) for Sustainable Power Solution in Jengre Community

Plateau, Jos – July 10, – The management and staff of ACOB Lighting Technology Limited are pleased to inform the general public of the successful execution of the Tripartite Agreement with the Jos Electricity Distribution Company Plc (JED Plc). This agreement marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing sustainable and reliable electricity to the Jengre Community.

Under this agreement, ACOB Lighting Technology Limited will deploy a 395kWp Interconnected Solar Hybrid Mini-grid. This state-of-the-art Interconnected Mini-grid is designed to deliver consistent and sustainable power, which is poised to positively impact the livelihoods and businesses of over 30,000 people in Jengre Community.

The deployment of this Mini-grid is expected to bolster agro-processing activities in the community, contributing to economic growth and enhancing the overall quality of life. This initiative underscores our dedication to innovation and sustainability in our efforts to empower communities with reliable and environmentally-friendly energy solutions.
